Lisa Buckley

As General Manager for Ascendion Law, Lisa's role consists of business operations, human resources, finance, and brand experience. Her extensive background in post-secondary education administration gives her the skills and expertise to lead major business projects and oversee systems. Most recently, as the Director of Student Development at Simon Fraser University, she managed first-year orientation student and leadership programs, including managing over 600 student volunteers.

With an M.A. from University of Toronto and a B.A. (Honours) from Simon Fraser University, Lisa’s love of writing spans diverse areas such as academic publications, commercial writing, marketing, magazines and poetry. She is a book lover at heart and has a passion for children’s literature and health. She is an avid volunteer in the community and lends her skills as a team leader at the local children’s library, as well as fundraising for the BC Children's Hospital Foundation. As a Momma to her greatest loves, her two children, Lisa is a strong advocate for raising awareness about the 1 in 13 Canadian kids with life-threatening food allergies via River’s Pals.
